About

about vivian

My name is Vivian, and I’m the girl behind Wildflower Homestead. This website and blog was inspired by my love for sharing meaningful, helpful ideas with other women out there in this big, amazing world. Although my topics tend to be within the realm of self-help and self-improvement in the context of motherhood, I love to explore the many faces of womanhood and how our existence relates to the ordinary yet meaningful parts of our everyday lives. Thank you for being here, and I hope something here inspires you!

little facts

  • I’ve lived in states across the U.S., including Illinois, New York, and California.
  • I spent most of my life before adulthood training to become a professional classical musician. I even attended a well-known music conservatory before dropping out.
  • I love visual art, but I’m admittedly not naturally very creative or talented in that area.
  • My Spotify playlists have a crazy spread, ranging from country to jazz to heavy metal. Some days I want to listen to Bach. Other days, I’m in the mood for Chvrches.
  • I met my wonderful husband in my 30’s and am the mother to two sweet little ones.
