Paleo Peach Crisp | Paleo Desserts

One week last month, I went crazy with paleo dessert recipe options. One of my favorite paleo desserts that came out of that frenzied craze was this delicious paleo peach crisp. Not only is this dish tasty and 100% paleo, but it is also super easy to make! When I make this recipe, I actually just pull out a 4″ x 8″ glass tupperware container and prepare the dish using that. No need for extra pans or pots and all that kitchen clutter. Anything I can do to avoid creating extra dishes to wash is a winning option in my book. Just a quick reminder to use organic ingredients if you can!

Ingredients:

  • 1 peach (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Yield: 1-2 servings

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Combine peaches and butter until the peaches are coated.

3. Pour mixture into a small baking dish (I use a 4″ x 8″ glass tupperware container), spreading evenly on the bottom. Sprinkle with some cinnamon.

4. Combine the almond flour, almond butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl until you have a nice crumble. Add almond flour as needed to attain that crumbly texture.

5. Sprinkle the almond flour crumble evenly over the peaches.

6. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serving Size: 2
